Autumn Onions & Garlic Set:

Elephant Garlic: Allium ampeloprasum (Hardneck). This is a fun member of the allium plant family; Elephant garlic grows big and can weigh over a kilo per bulb produced! The massive bulbs can be up to 15cm in diameter. The cloves are much larger than conventional garlic with a milder taste. Use in a wide choice of culinary delights. Roasting whole is ideal, once roasted simply spread over crusty bread, or serve as a side to bbq’d or roasted meats or added to sauces and soups! Height: up to 1.2m. Spread: 20cm. x4 cloves.

Garlic 'Germidour': A soft neck French cultivar that develops large white bulbs that have a mild garlic flavour that is retained after cooking and is excellent for storing and growing in the UK. x1 bulbs/c. 8 cloves. (RHS - Award of Garden Merit)

Onion 'Snowball': Wonderful and the best white skinned Autumn planting onion with a lovely, mild flavour and the bulbs keep well. Stores for 6 months. approx. x10 sets / 100g.

Onion ‘Senshyu’: Best Japanese over wintering variety, very reliable heavy yielding main crop producing straw coloured semi-globe onion bulbs. Stores for 6 months. approx. x10 sets / 100g.
