Quick overview

Massive globes of star-shaped, pearlescent, pink-purple flowerheads, to 20cm wide, on strong stems - not as tightly-packed flowerheads so backdrops and light can be seen through them. Plant middle-centre in border or in container displays. Seed heads add interest for long periods over summer. Strap shaped green foliage adds texture early on. Height: 90cm, Flowering time: May to July, Preferred conditions:  Full sun or part shade. x1 large, top size, bulb for planting.
