Exciting evergreen with strap-like mid-green leaves and tall black stems with wonderful dark purple-blue flowers. Grow in borders/containers. Height: 70cm, Flowering time:  July - September, Preferred conditions: Full Sun.  x1 bare root for planting.

Lovingly known as the African Lily these exotic hardy perennial plants have tall strong stems and flamboyant globe-shaped heads, adorned with masses of trumpet-shaped blooms throughout summer. A fantastic structural specimen plant for garden spaces. Suitable for moist, well-drained soils and ideal for containers.

Origin/native: South Africa
