The collection at Cambridge University Library contains many documents from the life of the great naturalist Charles Darwin, including letters, photographs, and first drafts of his ground-breaking books. But his children added their own contributions: highly inventive and often humorous scribbles and sketches, added to the reverse of these manuscripts. This seed growing kit is inspired by a series of illustrations by Darwin's children known as 'The Battle of Fruits and Vegetables'.
