The kit contains Venus Flytrap or Trumpet Pitcher plant seeds that are carnivorous plants naturally growing in nutrient free soils, which is why they needed to extract nutrients from insect prey! Native to North America, they grow naturally in wetlands and bogs. They like full sun, a south facing window, but benefit from cooler periods during dormancy in winter, so move plants somewhere cooler.
